With the use of poop scoopers and bags, you can make sure that you’ll keep a distance from the poop. It is also safer to wear gloves while scooping the poop and putting it in a plastic or grocery bag and eventually disposing it. You can do additional cleaning by mapping the floor or spraying some sort of disinfectant sprays to make sure that it is at least 99.9% clean.
As much as possible, it is better to train your dog to urinate and/or do the pooping in just one specific place.
